Find Your Bags


If you can’t find your bags upon arrival, most of the time this is due to safety and/or security reasons. Our crew always carefully assesses the weight and balance before departure, keeping take off, landing and weather conditions in mind.
For this reason, it can happen at times that some bags are not on the same flight, but we will make every effort to ensure your baggage follows you as quickly as possible. We are usually able to do this within 24 to 48 hours.

On your arrival airport, find a WINAIR agent after landing and before leaving the airport. The agent will assist you with filling out a document called Property Irregularity Report (PIR). Keep a copy of this document and its file number in order to track the progress of the search for your baggage.


Baggage delayed for 2+days


After 48 hours, declare your missing/delayed baggage online.
You will receive a file number at the end of the process. Keep this number for future reference.
Describe your missing baggage as precisely as possible. An accurate and complete description of your baggage is essential for locating your baggage.
Keep receipts for any expenditures and the passenger receipt from your ticket.
