Winair Introduces Flexible Payment Option, Making Travel More Accessible for Customers
Philipsburg, St. Maarten – June 16, 2026 – Winair is pleased to announce the launch of a new flexible payment solution that allows customers to book flights today and pay over time through convenient installment plans.
Available for eligible bookings made through the Winair website, the new payment option gives travelers greater flexibility when planning their journeys by eliminating the need to pay the full ticket cost upfront. Customers can secure their reservation with a minimum initial payment of USD $20 and spread the remaining balance across scheduled installments before their travel date.
The introduction of installment payments reflects Winair's ongoing commitment to making air travel more accessible and affordable for residents, families, business travelers, and visitors across the Caribbean.
"We are continuously looking for ways to improve the customer experience and make travel more accessible," said Hans van de Velde, Chief Executive Officer of Winair. "For many travelers, paying the full cost of a trip upfront can be a challenge, especially for traveling families. This new payment solution provides greater flexibility and allows customers to plan and book their travel with more confidence and convenience."
The flexible payment option will be available for bookings made in U.S. dollars (USD) for flights departing more than sixty (60) days from the booking date. Customers will be able to select a payment schedule that best suits their needs while securing their reservation immediately. All installments must be paid at least thirthy (30) days before the departure date.
To provide this service, Winair has partnered with Fizupay, a payment solutions provider focused on helping travelers spread the cost of their journeys through manageable installment plans.
